    Lithium batteries can last more than 6 years. For example, lithium iron phosphate batteries have been reported to endure up to 10,000 charge-discharge cycles at a 1C rate (100% Depth of Discharge), demonstrating remarkable longevity.

  • High Rated Voltage
    The nominal voltage of a lithium battery is typically 3.7V or 3.2V per cell, which is roughly equivalent to the combined voltage of three nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride batteries. This makes it easier to assemble battery packs. Furthermore, newer voltage regulation technologies can reduce the voltage to 3.0V, making them suitable for small appliances.

    Lithium batteries, especially lithium iron phosphate cells used in electric vehicles, can handle charge and discharge rates of 15-30C, allowing for high-intensity starting and quick acceleration.

  • Low Self-Discharge Rate
    One of the most notable advantages of lithium batteries is their exceptionally low self-discharge rate, typically under 1% per month—about 1/20th that of nickel-metal hydride batteries.

  • Lightweight
    Lithium batteries are much lighter than lead-acid alternatives, weighing roughly 1/6th to 1/5th as much for the same volume.

  • High-Temperature and Low-Temperature Tolerance
    Lithium batteries perform well in extreme temperature conditions, operating between -20°C and 60°C. With proper treatment, some can even function in environments as cold as -45°C.

  • Eco-Friendly
    Lithium batteries are environmentally friendly, as they contain no toxic heavy metals like lead, mercury, or cadmium. They do not produce harmful substances during production, use, or disposal, making them a greener alternative.
